First time seeing the car. Wow. Thumbs up from Ellie! Nothing like seeing MY name on MY car. This pic was taken after the rush of getting the car off the trailer and onto the driveway; first opportunity to step back and really look at the car. Lots of shiny billet. Getting the engine and transaxle installed. Kind of like cracking open the rib cage and doing open heart surgery on a car! A few minutes after first engine start. I was shocked it started right up on the first try! Car prepped and waiting for first go-kart drive. This photo reminds me of the first SLC I saw sporting the CF10 wheels. First go-kart completed, feeling pretty high! Getting the SLC out into the wild, first time anyone’s put eyes on the car other than my family. First time getting the door hinge and strut working together. Bob’s expression says it all – we really had to hustle getting this windshield installed. These two vehicles couldn’t be any more different in spirit. First time getting the car out of the garage after completing all bodywork mods. Re-installed all the body panels after plastidip. A short drive to the top of Mt. Helix. This car in side profile checks all the right boxes. Thanks to @3PSMedia for this awesome shot! Thanks to @3PSMedia for this awesome shot! A bit artsy for me but I dig it! Thanks to Eric @SquishMyRide for this awesome Micro Machines version of the SLC! Last dance before going under the knife for a makeover. I love how the yellow contrasts so well with the carbon fiber. First outing after re-dipping the car.
A before/after of the 2 colors. Yeah, I agree – yellow’s a better look!Trekking cross-country with Bob.The views are pretty incredible. The iPhone makes it look like I knew what I was doing here.Putting Ellie to work!A very inviting view, makes you want to hop in and rip through the gears!Out with the old, in with the new; it was time for a new dip job. Safety cone orange hurts the retinas in just the right way!
